Steven Jarrett Named Head of Structural Department in Atlanta Office of Parsons Brinckerhoff

Steve JarrettSteven Jarrett, P.E., has been named manager of the structural department in the Atlanta office of Parsons Brinckerhoff, a global infrastructure strategic consulting, engineering, and program/construction management organization. In his new position, Jarrett will lead the firm’s structural engineering operations in Georgia.

Jarrett has more than 30 years of experience in the transportation industry. He has managed numerous bridge design and structural rehabilitation projects, and has served as project manager and lead structural engineer on a variety of rail and airport facility projects.

Jarrett previously worked at Parsons Brinckerhoff for 15 years and was responsible for several projects for the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority, including the North-East line extension. Prior to returning to Parsons Brinckerhoff, he was the lead structural engineer in the Atlanta office of a national engineering firm responsible for the design of several bridge structures associated with a managed lane project for I/75-I/575 in North Atlanta.

Jarrett received a bachelor’s degree from The City College of New York. He is a member of the American Segmental Bridge Institute, American Concrete Institute, and Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute.
