Business Briefs: Powers Fasteners Expands Engineering Support Staff
Powers Fasteners, Inc., Brewster, N.Y., a leading manufacturer of concrete anchoring systems, has expanded its engineering support staff with three field technician service appointments. Kent Carlson and Annemarie Fleming join the company as field technical service managers for the Western and Eastern regions respectively, and Bob Sinclair was hired as a field engineer for the Northwest region.
Carlson has more than 25 years engineering experience in the construction industry and joins Powers after serving six years as director of engineering for Shearmax Corporation in California. Most recently, Fleming served as account executive for Global Spec., an engineering marketing service firm. She has more than 20 years experience in the business development and sales fields. Sinclair, a 28-year veteran of the engineering industry, has worked for the federal government and for fastening product developer ITW Ramset/Redhead.
