Business Briefs: YWS Architects

Brandon Y.K. Maldonado has joined the ranks of Las Vegas-based YWS Architects’ licensed professionals. Maldonado, who has been employed with the firm since 2006, passed his architecture exam in June. “Maldonado is the kind of architect that could easily lead the design of a fully functioning hotel,” said Tom Wucherer, co-founder of YWS. “His ingenuity and ability abound, and we are proud to have him as part of the YWS family.”

YWS also announced that it now has eight Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professionals (AP) working in the firm, with more undergoing the proper training. MD
